Paid Search Specialist (+ Social)

Fuelled by growth and ROI-driven results for our clients, our flourishing paid division at Digital Next welcomes you to apply for a role within our fast growing, Melbourne based Search Marketing Agency.
With the support of our Head of Paid Search, who has worked across accounts such as ANZ, Me Bank, Porsché and Swinburne University, you will help direct your own portfolio of clients and assist in the making of strategic growth marketing decisions. As soon as strategies, keyword plans and ad-copies are agreed on by your clients, you will be expected to implement campaigns and optimise account performance to coincide with structured KPIs.
We’re on the hunt for an autonomous, confident individual who will hit the ground running and develop their own portfolio within the paid department. Expertise in Google Shopping and Paid Social are extremely advantageous as we are constantly looking to expand our clients’ digital footprint.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Paid Search campaign builds & optimisation.
  • Bid management.
  • Expanding, maintaining and optimising keyword/negative keyword sets.
  • Initiating and guiding landing page strategies to creative teams.
  • Assistance in strategy pitching.
  • Monthly reporting.
  • Writing, optimising & AB testing of paid search ad copy.

A successful candidate will have an aptitude in the following areas:
Communication – Both internally to help facilitate strong cross-channel performance and externally to help bolster stronger client relationships amidst our portfolio.
Problem-solving & commercial awareness – The ability to think outside the box and connect the dots in a fast-moving marketplace.
Hard working & autonomous – Digital Next stray away from micromanagement and respect autonomy. As such, a high-level of autonomy and strong time management skills are essential.

Experience & Skill Set:

  • Strong, Practical Understanding of Paid Search Marketing.
  • Practical Understand of Supporting Paid Search Technologies.
  • Strong, Practical Understanding of Facebook Advert Management.
  • Strong Understanding of Google Analytics & Campaign Tracking.
  • Proven history of managing client campaigns and budgets.
  • Google AdWords Certified.
  • 3+ Years Paid Search Experience Necessary.
  • 2+ Years Agency Experience Ideal.

Salary Expectations & Benefits:

$65,000 + Super – ($70,000 Following 6 Month Appraisal).
