At Digital Next, we absolutely love our location and are proud to be a part of the fantastic South Melbourne Community. As part of our efforts to give back to a location that has given us so much, take a look at some of the community projects we have supported over the past 5 years.
As a 50-year-old grassroots football club, you could say that Middle Park FC is one of the best community sports centers available in Victoria. Over the past 3 years, Digital Next have been major kit sponsors for both the first, reserves, third and fourth men’s teams which injects necessary funds to keep the club going. We’re slightly biased with this one as a handful of the Digital Next team are players themselves!
When Gillie & Marc contacted us about sponsoring their awe-inspiring two headed rhinoceros sculpture in St Kilda to raise awareness for anti-poaching initiatives, it was an opportunity we could not turn down. We’ve always had a soft spot for animals at Digital Next and this was a worthy cause to make the world a better place through beautiful art.
In The Wonderful Two, Najin and Fatu were connected in the middle in a design inspired by the ‘pushmi-pullyu’ from the classic Dr Dolittle books by Hugh Lofting. The rhinos were connected in the middle, with their heads facing opposite directions trying to pull each other to safety, whilst constricted by the reality of their situation. Isn’t it just beautiful?
As advocates of top-class education and future leadership, Digital Next have been in partnership with a number of universities and colleges throughout Melbourne over the past 4 years. They provide keen learners and we provide a socialized environment which allows students to expand their minds whilst obtaining hands-on marketing experience at our offices.
Whilst we have worked with numerous educational institutes, RMIT has been in close collaboration with Digital Next. Each year, Digital Next enrolls a handful of last year marketing students for 8 week placements to assist them with the completion of their course and gain valuable employability experience in marketing.
